What we believe
MPCC welcomes all visitors
We have people at MPCC from almost every religious background imaginable, including Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Atheist. What most of us have come to know and realise is that Jesus Christ loves each of us no matter what religious background we might have come from.
We believe that everyone can have a relationship with God because of Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are based upon God's Word which says:
- that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." The Holy Bible, NIV, John 3:16
- that "the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God." The Holy Bible, NIV, 1 John 4:14, 15
- that there is "one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." The Holy Bible, NIV, Ephesians 4:5, 6
