Under Data Protection legislation the church Charity Trustees of Manor Park Christian Centre are the Data Controller and the church office administrator acts as our Data Protection Administrator.
We are processing the information that you provide to enable the church to get back in touch with you in relationship to the ministries of MPCC and in order to provide encouragement and support to you as appropriate. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the church’s legitimate interest.
In order to get back in touch with you, your name, contact details and enquiry or prayer request will be accessed by the MPCC church office administrator and given to the appropriate church leader. This information will NOT be disclosed to anyone else without your consent. This might also necessitate entering the information you provide on a temporary church database that is held on the church office computer network which is password protected and is accessed only by the church’s leaders and the church office administrator.
You can ask for your details to be removed at any time. You have the right to ask to see any contact details or other information that we hold about you by submitting a ‘Subject Access Request’ to the church office administrator. You also have the right to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be rectified.
If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled, please speak to our Data Protection Administrator. If you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
